
Shan Zhang is a Research Assistant at Vanke School of Public Health, Tsinghua University. He received Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the School of Public Health, Peking University. His research focuses on the specific neuropsychological and physiological mechanisms underlying suicide and self-injury risks. With a core emphasis on interoception, he utilizes magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), biomarkers, and Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA) to identify intervention targets for suicide and self-injury. Over the past three years, he has published multiple papers in journals such as Trauma, Violence, & Abuse, Journal of Affective Disorders, and General Psychiatry.
